- Now that I booked my session, what should I expect?
-
So you booked your portrait session! Now what? Don't worry. I am here to help you through the entire process from start to finish. Prior to your session we will have a phone consultation to discuss the details and to ensure all of your questions have been answered.
- What's the best time of day to take photos?
-
Primarily anytime after 2pm or for best results, 1-2 hours before the sun sets is the best time to shoot. You get the most amazing warm, glowing light during this time. This time may vary at different parts of the year. You do NOT want to take photos around high noon when the sun is sitting directly over head.
- How long will the session last?
-
Normal session times are 90 minutes. Sessions run smoothly when clients have a pretty clear idea of their change of wardrobe and location changes. You may change as many outfits as you choose within your session time. Most clients bring 3-5 outfit changes.
- What happens if I need to reschedule?
-
Reschedules are allowed once in the case of an emergency/non weather related reasons. Rescheduling will take place for the next available date. Please be mindful that availability is limited so the next available date may not be for a few weeks or longer.
- Why is my session fee non-refundable?
-
Session Fees are non-refundable and cannot be used for another client. Once a cancelation takes place, the retainer fee is considered liquidated damages to the photographer. Session Fees are transferable for up to 90 days.
- What forms of payment do you accept?
-
We accept cash, major credit cards (Square & PayPal) and cash app ($CSPhotog). Checks may be accepted from established clients and corporate clients.
- What happens if it rains?
-
Weather can at times ruin photography sessions. Unfortunately, I have little control over the weather. Weather permitting, we will reschedule for the next available date. If I forsee inclement weather I will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule.
- Where will we take our photos?
-
I can literally shoot anywhere whether its natural light or OCF (off camera flash). I have my favorite spots around the Golden Triangle area. I am always up for trying new locations. Yes, yes, yes I TRAVEL, mainly in the Houston area (this requires travel fee). Contact us with any travel request.

I will provide a print release with your images that grants rights to print the images for personal use (prints, invites, portfolios, products, etc).
